Mana is a true visual rocker (even his song mroe into baroque classical rock).

dir en grey for example quit their visual and wear somethign lighter. x japan did the same too when they cut their hair in 95 and with yoshiki start showing his masculine side instead of those feminine one in their jealousy era.

Look at late SRV, he doesn't cross dress, but he has the attitude and flair. thats wat really impresses ppl and when he first played live...he got booed..he never gave up. personally, i think he is one of the greatest player in the world and its loss that he isn't around anymore
