Hi guys, I think I will be more actively posting in soft as I missed my bass after not touching it for a really long time. It brings back so much memories! No wonder some people would choose their guitars over their girlfriends for it will never leave them.

My mother was a classical piano teacher, her first piano was a grand piano. It is those wooden kind that seriously occupies alot of space and you can open it on the top (probably they used it back in the 1800s). Well, she refuses to sell it away and she just looks at it sometimes and plays it although she is kind of rusty and all the wrong notes comes out (haha).

Well, my bass guitar is no different. I just got my hands on it and o my god, i had almost forgot everything i had learnt after not touching it for ages! Some notes sound really wrong and i guess my fingers are not as seasoned as it used to be lol.

Do feel free share your experiences here on how you tried to quit music and somehow it just wouldnt go :)

Haha, welcome back!

I dont see how i can forsee myself leaving my guitars in a corner. I think it has become more than an hobby, but not till the point of addiction. :)

Anyway, those artwork photographs you have on your blog are beautiful. The puppet one is stunning. Quite spooky in one angle. Reminds me of a recent horror show. :p No offence though. Its beautiful.

Yea, afer a while it gets painful after playing for too long!

Thank you! It was meant to be that way. When i was doing the photoshoot, at first, it was quite a challenge to go out of character and act like a doll. But after some practicing, it got pretty fun and intense! Definitely feels like acting on stage all over again.

I have a song that I would like to record on my computer, is there any software to recommend for mac? (please don't tell me garage band!)

er.. you are?

HAHAHA just kidding!
welcome back, mate.

hmm i've never tried quitting music, since music IS my life. i did though, switched from drums to guitars and got engrossed in it that i lost some knowledge about the drums. but i've regained them though. now i'm into bass. heheh!

Once a player, always a player.

Life is hard & one must grow up (be responsible, get jobs, salary blah blah) I am forced to leave my home & my guitar, come here to SG & work, haven't played played for a year until 2005 feb (chinese new year) some1 left this old accoustic guitar with rusty & out of tune strings. I picked it up,clean it & give her a new strings and started to play to the awe of my friends,as they never knew that i can play.
