If you wanna budget, go to couchsurfing.com and find someone local who is going to the event. That's what I did last year for big day out in Perth, my friend and I stayed over at a couchsurfer's place for the weekend.

I thought of goin too. I think the cheapest would be goin to the one at Perth due to the cheaper air tix.

Do anyone know of any way i can purchase the big day out tix in gold coast other that the site cos its sold out. I be in gold coast durin big day out there...

i got my tix for splendour in the grass from ebay (au), no choice as it was sold out on first day, suggest you try there. if you're lucky you might get someone selling it at original ticket price
