guys , i have been thinking of getting the LTD ax-50 so may i know what's the price for that guitar? do you guys recommend it? :)

I'm not sure about the exact price (<$600 i think), but you may call up Davis Guitar @ 6337 5092 to find out the price. The guitar has decent specs, so I say yes, but please try it out and make sure you like the sound and feel before you buy it.

If you want more recommendations, you may want to state:
-How much you want to spend?
-What type of music you play?

well , it's late already. i'll call later during noon , currently i have an Epiphone les paul special 2 deluxe and i'm training to be a metal lead guitarist so i want something that can play metal/death metal. My budget is ard 300~500

hi there 8-)

i have tried many LTDs, i would say they do better in many other brand names when it comes to guitars in the lower price brackets. in fact, i bought one recently (i really don't need another guitar...):

metal type tone can be achieved in many ways, we need not be limited to the type of guitars/ brand name. in fact, my telecaster here handles some of my very heavy/ black stuff:

im sure your epiphone can play your desired genre of songs.
its more of the amps and effects actually

+1. In fact, if you want a really heavy distortion tone, I'd prefer a Les Paul over anything else. Any guitar can play metal / death metal as long as it has the right pickups. Namely, humbuckers, which most Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls have.

So for that death metal tone, you can either get an amplifier with high-gain distortion, or you could go the effects route. A clean amplifier, and perhaps a high-gain distortion pedal to provide the distortion.
