Help with songs.

hey all, as many know O's coming to an end and prom is starting.

i've been placed in charge for the compilation of songs to be played throughout the prom
what my friend wants(host) is
-classical or slow song maybe even fast or whatever then can suit dancing atmosphere.
-soft rock/pop which will suit the party atmoshpere.
-and of course all the chart hits on mtv, thats for sure!

or actually anything that you feel can be played during the prom. c'mon guys, i know i can count on you all. after all this is a music forum and i need loads of tips.
i have no idea how long the prom's gonna last, so i need an est 5hrs of songs? i'm just being kiasu yeah. hope i have the songs in my itunes. =x
