hello
i am looking for a solution to a "live" performance problem.
My instrument is an acoustic instrument that is picked up using microphones through a audio interface into the laptop. i need a software running on a laptop (mac or windows) that can do the following.
1) have a specific delay in terms of milliseconds. this delay need to be turned on and off with a foot switch.
2A) able to record a loop of 2 bars by foot switch and this loop can be turned off later with the same foot switch.
OR
2B) play a recorded loop that is triggered on and off with a foot switch.
i saw an interesting idea of putting a old qwerty keyboard on the floor and using that as a foot switch. heh. good and cheap.
anw, can Ableton live do the above? so far it seems like the best bet.
can anyone confirm before i take the plunge?
CHEERS!
