Help on fretboard!

Anyone know what is those white patches on the fretboard? It is like in between the rosewood... eh are the rosewoods suppose to have pores or is it too dry?

Will lemon oil help or is there any solution out there?

hm, i think i haf e same prob. on the fretboard of my epi les paul, can see the pores of the wood... but they are white :?
