Help!!! My capo!!!

i recently bought a capo cause my previous DUNLOP capo spoilt.

However, i couldnt fit the capo into my acoustic guitar and even my les paul. Is it the capo's problem, or is there a way to adjust the capo. I tried fitting the capo in but it was too tight. Then i tried to use a lot of strength to place it in, it is possible but i dont remember i have to apply so much strength to place my capo in place, and even so, the capo could not go past the 3rd fret.

electric necks are thinner than acoustic necks. that one you linked was for electric, so it'll be tougher to fit it onto an acoustic esp if the neck is thick. point is get a dunlop. lol! $25 only

Happy user of a Dunlop trigger capo as well. It's a good capo, worth getting again if you ask me. But my mind is set on a Kyser. I think Kysers are incredible. Best to buy an acoustic capo, can fit on both electric and acoustic necks.
