Help - Metal on guitar bridge turns blue.

Hi guys, I just bought a new guitar (Ibanez RGA32). I noticed after a day of playing it a small part of the metal on the bridge turned blue. You can see in the pictures, it's at the edge where it looks "oily" (it's not reflection). I suspect it might be due to the sweat on my picking hand causing some reaction with the metal.

I'm wondering if this is normal, as it seems quite weird that the material gets affected by only after a day of usage.

Can/should I bring it back for an exchange/warranty?

That is just a thin film of oil left over from your sweat from your picking hand. You didn't wipe down after playing did you?
Anyway, u can clean it with some solvents. Dr Duck Something works for that. You can try pledge or something. that should work too. Or.. water (make sure u wipe it dry after that).

You cant return for warranty based on that. Warranty only covers electronic parts.

I did wipe it after playing. I'm quite anal about aesthetics and cleanliness (esp since it's new).

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll go search around for them.

Don't worry after some time, you just won't bother so much anymore. Soon you will start to see pick scratches, swirl marks & mild scratches despite all the effort to take care of the guitar. Don't polish too much as that chrome might be just a finish on top of another material.

man if i were you, i'd go "omg it looks so cool!"

no, really, if i were u, i'd make the whole bridge like that.
