hey do you guys think i should get an epiphone sg special or epiphone special 2? or get an ibanez?
help me out pleasseeee thanks!

can't help you if you don't tell us:

*your budget
*the music you are into
*your preferential features (do you like humbuckers, specific headstock shape, etc)

ok my budget is ard 450 below and i listen to metalcore, post-hardcore , metal bands like the devil wears prada, miss may i. and i prefer humbuckers. can you help me out?

Metal guitar? Hahah Sub's territory...
But anyway, Schecter or Ibanez. The Schecter Omen which sub recommended does look good...
As for Ibanez, many fit the bill but try to get an RG (not Gio/GRG) or SA120, secondhand. For that budget you should be able to snag one pretty soon...

Maybe you should consider one of the Craftsman models, cant remember it off the top of my head. But that specific one seemed to fit your budget. Go check it out at Sound Alchemy at excelsior. IMO might as well get the craftsman rather than the Ibanez GRG. although the scheters are not bad as well.

yeah im open to any brands just need to know which is good and prefer to have humbucker pickups...craftsman are good? im currently waiting to deal for a washburn x200 pro-e

that's a decent guitar to start with, don't see why you shouldn't see the deal through- all the best.

hey what do you think about a schecter omen 6 with bridge pickups changed to duncan jb pickups? is it quite ok for metal?

Bro im looking to sell my Ibanez GIO (excellent condition) for Only about S$300 or lowest S$250. I think its way below your budget so it allows you to channel your capital on gadgets and image.

If you're interested, i'll bring the guitar down to your place, have you take a look. If you're happy with it, we'll move from there. if not, then its all good. Just contact me at 91737957. My name's Anwar.

You're looking for a new guitar? Or trying to sell your current one? Or both?

Personally I think $250-300 is very steep for Ibanez GIO. They're good guitars from my experience, but they generally have very low resale value. Even lower than some lesser-known brands. Just my $0.02 though, ultimately the seller sets the price. :)
