help in modding MIM jazz bass

i am thinking of upgrading my mim jazz but with a twist.
was thinking of putting an mm pickup at the bridge, and a hum-cancelling single coil pickup on the neck. i am also thinking of putting a audere preamp with Z-mode Jazz Pre - Vol, Vol, Treble/Bass (JZ3-VV-2B). Pickup choice- nordstrand mm 5.2 and nordstrand nj5fs

the thing is i want to wire both pickup separately one volume for each pickup. 1v for nj5fs and 1v for mm5.2

would any problem occur if i want to wire the pickup in this configuration?

Wood routing etc etc is not a problem for me.

anyone could recommend me a place to do this modding? i am thinking of Tymusic, and one music shop at parklane there.

eh, keep? haha even if i want to sell , i dont think anyone will buy it, its 2007 fender mim btw, current pickup is okay, but looking for that growl haha. thinking of seperating the mm and single coil at neck because i heard a lot of people complain about the impendance mismatch or something, the mm pickup is too hot. thats why i am thinking of getting the v-v-t/b config, means i am just using 1 pickup all the time. if i want use neck, roll of the vol of the back pickup. if i want use the mm, roll off the front and max the back. But dont know whether it will work or not

It would work.
I have an MM/J config bass, with v-b-t (passive), and i love it. v-v should work fine as well.
The balance between the pickups is better than in my Fender PJ where the P dominates. You can blend the pickups no problem.
If you do it definitely get a switch to select the MM pup in series/parallel/single.
You could also do as in the above post and get a musicman, but if you're after a project....

If you do it please update us on how well it went. Before/after sound clips would be great.

hehe but i think i am going save money for mia MM first... i realised the above project would cost around 1k over, so thinking of saving a bit more getting a 4 stringers. only got a 5 string now, but not ruling out the possibilty of the project in the future.
