hey there. erm, i dont know how to elaborate this. but, im just thinking. how much will it cost if i want to remove all the limegreen thingy on my VERY old guitar from my long lost dad=/.im thinking of reviving it back and my bass neck and pickups. is there any liquid solution to get rid of the rust/ limegreen thingy? PLEASE HELP. your help is much appreciated. pics for reference below.

Those tarnish/ rust can be made shiny by Brasso. I suggest you change the tuners, input jacks, pickup selector etc. Too rusty and after all these years, I guess they might not be functioning well. As for the poles on the pickups, you can use a sandpaper to sand away the rust.

As for the frets, you can use this

Aha. i can help to revive your guitar.. remove the rusts especially.and i can polish the frets to UBER SHINY!

Hi, lemon oil is for conditioning the fretboard but make sure your fretboard is rosewood, not maple. Do it yourself. You will have a great sense of satisfaction after revivng your guitars
