Help! Computer expert needed

Recently, a friend of mine had her laptop taken by her sister. When she got it back, for some reason she cannot open Firefox. For some weird reason, as soon as it boots up it'll shut down again and a message will flash telling her to use IE instead.

It's a prank done by her sister. Anyone knows how to reverse this problem? Cause IE lags on her laptop, but she can't use Firefox either now so she can't use the internet for school work

hey i googled it and found several "Variations" im not sure if it is the same as the problem but here is a few of the fix.
