Heavy Pick Sounds

Hi guys

Currently my lead tone runs from a biyang od-8 to a pedaltank G2 distortion and then into an equaliser pedal and a artec analog delay pedal into a kustom 15w amp

i play with a sharp jazz 3 pick

I can hear heavy pick sounds in my playing, what could be the reason for this ?

Would playing into a higher waltage amp help, or is there any settings on my equaliser pedal that can help to lessen the picking sound ?

maybe u can try playing with less gain [just in case u spammed gain] because having lotsa gain will compress everything including the picking noise. if not, try playing with different picks. i think it's actually the pick and how u pick with it since it's actually how the pick interacts with the strings which contributes to most of the picking noise.

yeah in fact i think ive got quite abit of gain set in the pedal hahah, thanks for the tip
