Anyone tried to heavy metallize songs???

Possible candidates would be:
1. Spongebob squarepants song (no really...)
2. Tragedy - Bee Gees

u mean make a mainstream song metal? like COB's take on britney's 'oops i did it again'?

i would like to see a death metal version of sum41's 'we're all to blame'. got the idea some time back, but laziness, lack of confidence n bandless-ness got in the way. oh and also britney spears' 'crazy'.

I`ve been tryin to "metalized" PET SHOP BOYS songs...

Realli is worth tryin...
i always tink dat most of the dance songs can be make into heavier version by usin power chords haha!!!

Band: Coroner
Album: Mental Vortex
Cover track: I Want You (She's so heavy)
Original version: Beatles

Band: Krieg
Album: The Black House
Cover Track: Venus in Furs
Original version: Velvet Underground

Talking about metallized beatles songs also check out Beatallica. Really amusing how it would sound if beatles songs were performed by Metallica with the distinct Hetfield voice.

even got amusing titles

"The Thing that Should Not Be" -> "The Thing That Should Not Let it Be"

LOL.

Bandlessness and business and shitty amp distortion also got in my way of trying to metallize many songs. :x

Haha. . . Listen to the song "Paint it Black" by The Black Dahlia Murder. . . The original song is from the Rolling Stones. . . But to me, the BDM version sounds alot more fun

my band tried to metallized a siti nurhaliza song with all the stabby riffs, palm mutes and screaming... in the end, we played it slow tempo... haha
