May I know the signal chain for the vocals on Further?

The composition and arrangements are great. I have a problem with the vocals. While it's good to emote, he is overdoing it and it doesn't seem sincere. There's are a few swallowed syllables as well. You might also like to tone down the mids on the guitars and the vocals, and run it a little more through a compressor and a little more reverb. i find a too upfront vocal to be annoying.

i'm using damien rice's o as a comparison for the sound.
