:? I am interested in 1996 Gibson Lucille that posted on the site. But I have no idea about this shop. Any recommendation? Or another recommended 2nd hand guitars, guitar effects for me? 8) Thank You so much.

Wai Kay aka the owner of orangeguitar is a very honest and friendly guy

ive not bought any guitars from him except my SD-2... however been asking about guitar infos and he has been asnwering me with the best he knows...

anyway yeah as said just do research around then

i agree, Wai Kay is a great guy and a helpful, knowledgable dealer

i've enquired about more than one of his very tempting 2nd hand guitars, and he has always provided top-grade service in answering my queries - despite the fact that i have yet to purchase anything from him

and his prices are very reasonable too. consider the prices u see on ebay and other 2nd hand, vintage MIJ guitar dealers online, and you will realise that he charges like $300-500 less, depending on model and condition of course.

i hope to deal with him soon, once i see something i really cant talk myself out of... heh

oh ok

i visited him once and tried all his guitar

and personally i like that UNO alot... very well made

tried some of his vintage guitar

oh and that greco as well

however didnt appeal to me much

Orange guitar?

Oh, so i know where my Bassman RI went to....no wonder it looked suspiciously familiar...

i would recommend u email him and find out for yourself. he is a nice guy and i have corresponded with him on email and svc has always been top notch. am also eyeing his orville LP....sweet. he has some new stuff, like MIJ pedals and all. sweet.

thank a lot to namle and mr.ben :D

i just wanna make sure before decide to leave SGD 2,500.
his stuff price is really reasonable and his web show all the marks on guitars.
my plan to visit SG is the end of this month and i wish that the Lucille is still waiting for me 8)

any of you want to check the price here in thailand, i could do it for u na.

THAILAND!!!

im tinking of getting a custom at NNGUITARS over there... have heard very good review about the craftsmanship

ah... all has been said about orangeguitar. I totally agree that wai kay is an excellent guy to deal with.

i tried his guitar search once. gave me his quote but at the same time, told me frankly that i should get it at a local stores coz he thinks it might be cheaper. cool.

Thank your for all recommendations krab...

I have been using NNG PRS figure guitar for a couple years. I think that NNG's pickups is emphasizing on sharp tone. Anyway, for local people, it is quite worth in term of amount of payment-to-product. But for those who fly to get it, I do not think so. Except that you would like to custom your guitar but you have to fly twice (which make your cost about SGD400+).

This is the one of customized acoustic guitar that I think it is very beautiful.

P.S. the guitarthai board is running so fast, those of you who cannot open this link please be known that the board is running over it already.

Ya...i sold WK the bassman, its very new and hardly play it.
The tone is slightly darker, bassier but the punch is lovely.
Very pedal friendly...the hotbritish sound Mmmmaaassive..

+1 for great service.

if you see some stuff overpriced, that's because he doesn't want to sell it and keeping for himself.

he isn't really a retailer, more like collector.

anyone interested in ordering a custom guitar from NNG guitar?

any idea whats the average pricing of a custom guitar from them?
