Watched 3 WASBE wind orchestra concerts (University of Florida, Senzoku Gakuen, the netherland fanfare, Boston Brass).
Hm...
The Netherland wind orchestra Boston Brass very nice.
Although the netherland one is a wind orchestra, it actually consist of Brass & percussion only. The sounds very Smooth & Clean.
The Florida one not bad also. very Truth to classical.
The Senzoku Gakuen one,
hm... a bit dissapointed (as I always expect Japanese orchestra to perform better, at least technically).
as there are a bit out of tune.
but that concert overall still very enjoyable.
especially when thay play the FINALE of the famous piece "Jupiter Fantasy" (by Ito Yasuhide).
Those who interested can go watch WASBE~ International Youth Winds Orchestra concert on This saturday.
will play some Ito Yasuhide's works also.
This saturday also got Tokyo Kosei Winds orchestra.
I watched their concert (with sax soloist) DVD before.

Not reali much for musicians.......Even swee lee not showcasing any guitar...
Felt dissapointed.......but
I managed to get a very cool info of a nu product from TC Electronic.
Jus brought in last monday.....G-System is a multi-effect floor pedal. Made of aluminium casingand has lots of i/o's such as midi, sub-pedal.....
But im surprice dat they dont have the product there and if I hv to try it....it will be at their showroom in kallang.....Dats sumting cool and interesting.....
Other then dat......it reali nuting much......they showcase lighting, soung system, mixing/console product n software......

yeah the g system is supposed to be a pedalboard/ rackmount version of the g force effects processor which incidentally would run about 3k.
