Hi guys what do you guys think of guthrie govan for me i think he is just fantastic, a very good teacher and guitar player for those of you who do not have a guitar teacher to guide you in guitar playing than i would recommend that you guys go and get the guitar technique magazine to me the only guitar magazine that is full of educational material. For those of you who wish to see and hear how well he play go to youtube and go to the blues jam track channel to see how he improvise............i really wish that one day the guitar technique crew will come to spore and organize guitar clinic like guitar break in london guthries playing is somewhere between scott henderson and larry carlton just that he play faster....:D

He's pretty awesome. So many musicians out there to be discovered& most importantly, re-discovered.

I've been a fan of Andy Summer's guitar work for the longest time.

his album Erotic Cakes was a real "ear opener". The first track waves was very catchy indeed. It kept me thinking how to play that opening riff.

templar we hahe something in common, check out his video on you tube where he played wonderful slippery thing fuhh fantastic........

i was reffering to his latest concert live at pistoia which happen last year but the clinic one was great too:p

people you could listen too
-scott henderson
-john scofield
-larry carlton
-wayne krantz
but this are more towards the jazz side rather than the rock side

Thanks alot for the recommendations, firdaus bro. :-D

This style of music is really refreshing compared to listening to rock/metal all the time.
