I am a guitarist in my 20s.
I have playing guitar for many years, and also have quite frequent public performances.
I am most of the time a lead guitarist, and quite solo-based, but I understand that a band is not a one-man show, and I am content with laying back and do rythme also.
I mainly play classic rock stuff, both rythmes and solos of bands such as Guns N'Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple, etc. During my own free time, I also like to play solos of Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc.
I am now without a band, so want to join a band to jam during weekends, and have gigs. I personally LOVE live performances, and I really want to have the opportunities to play gigs in public. So I really want to join a band that would have ample opportunities for public performances. Of course, song recordings and fun sessions are a must also.
