Guitar upside down issues

Hi Softies,

I play the guitar upside down for on off about 10 years now,
not an avid though i was quite influenced by Oasis use of vibrato in their songs back then.

I can play some "a little advance" song or little parts of the song which i like eg solos when i put effort to learn it;
Hotel California,John Mayer,Metallica and stuff like that.

But of course now i feel like i have reached a plateau in terms of what i can self learn and progress in whatever in terms of playing upside down.

My issue would be,
apart from now being limited to only certain guitar model,and having intonation/strings problem,and pick up upside down and cannot have cut-aways,

should i try look for an upside down teacher ?
or start try playing in a right or even a normal lefty fashion ?

I would greatly appreciate all perspectives.

And if anyone knows of any upside down teacher then pls do let me know their contacts.

Thank you.

do you re string the guitar so the thickest is on top and thiniest is bottom or? thiniest is on top and thickest is at the bottom?

Nah i play in a left handed position...but instead of restringing i just flip the right handed guitar and play...so if i get a righty with electronics near the top, it will be at the bottom when i flip...but if i get a lefty then restring then the intonation might be an issue but not sure la...anyways the issue was have to learn upside down chord...so far i improvise all chords shape but certain songs just become unplayable cause of the shape...thus plucking arrangement also affected...
