There probably isn't such a thing as a 'perfect' set up. The perfect set up is one that you like. As mentioned before, the tech has to literally translate what you describe to him and then set up the guitar accordingly.

Its not uncommon that customers insist that things be done instantaneously and when things are rushed, things like intonation goes unchecked etc . Its about expectations, not perfection. The guitar is an 'imperfect' instrument to begin with.
