Guitar string too stiff at sound hole

Hello, I recently purchased a Martin d15m. However I find that the string are too stiff to fingerpick at the sound hole. The action is okay. But it's just that the string is too stiff.

Any idea on how I can lower the tension? I am already using martins' light string
