guitar repair help

erm i think my guitar is screwed. everytime i plug it in the sound signal is very weak sometimes even no sound at all. and when i use amp distortion i still get a clean sound. when i select different pickup then suddenly no sound again..

waaa anyone know wats wrong? anyway can also recommend some place to reapair/set up for new strings etc etc. i haven set up my guitar since i bought it.

eh.. how long u bought it? epiphone oso got problem ah..

its ok if u nv setup after u bought it.. although some people say its better to setup after u bought it but i think if u nv anyhow whack should be all right la..

go bring it to any shop that does setup loh.. or u can try mikeman from this forum.. hes into these stuffs and he have a shop doing repairs and jamming :wink:

around 40 bucks.. go up to 100 or so for special treatment or sth

Hi,can u try to check the bride selector switch?i normally would try to spray it with cd lens spray.it might work but not too much as can overspill.can also check the jack input pod and check if its ok.This is not a permanent solution but if it helps than why not.as my guitars is quite old i try on it before but if u mind then don't try this!

I had that before. It most probably a loose solder joint.. Check the pickup's connection on the pots.
