hi guys..
i got a problem..
my guitar or pedal has a problem.. im not sure which one..
im using an ibanez JS100 and ZOOM GFX1 multi effects.
there are ten presets channles (A to J)
i switched to J3 and was playing on the neck pick up (rhythm) then the pedal automatically went back to A1. it only happened when i palm mute!! so i donnoe wats happening..
it happened for one of the 'I' channels too..
but nth happend when i switched to treble pick up..
is there sth wrong with my pick up or pedal?
do u guys think that the neck pick up could have fried but how did that happen?
and where do they do guitar setups at cheap prices and wat kind of setups?
sorry for so many question guys but hope u guys can help..
thank u loads..

if there's still sound coming out of the neck pickup, it's still functioning (unplug the ZOOM & plug straight thru to check...). if that's the case, then the ZOOM is suspect.

we don't have a clue as to what the patches you mentioned offer- pitch shift/ flange/ tremolo/ phase?

i dont think ur pickup is the problem. For sure u cant change patches with a pickup:)
Try other guitar with the zoom .U might like to search the net for similar related problem.
This is rather strange..
dholguitar are u using Zoom adapter or those multi adapter?
How long have u been playing before the "auto" switch?
It does not occur when u play on the bridge...
