Err... I think thats the price for a Gibson Les Paul Standard eh... The SG standard i'm quite sure is well under 2k. But Swee Lee no stock now.

howsabout the 2nd hand ones like at guitar77 and guitar connection? they any good? is it possible to get a standard strat for like $700? i tried a couple at guitar connection and it was shiok to play man. sighz. but all above 1k...

lp custom arnd 700 lp classic arnd 600 at swee lee after discount.
prices sorta varies slightly with colours though.
BUT looking at the condition of those guitar hanging there, i dun think its worth your money. Go get a 2nd hand one, especially from someone who knows how to maintain his guitars.

There's a used Highway fender strat(american) at luthermusic going for 790 bucks, you should get that.
