Guitar Pickups

Hi, I am new here.

I have an Old Samick Guitar, Its working fine an all except for the pickups.

I am thinking of removing the Neck and Middle Pickups, because my guitar set-up is
H-S-S(humbucker-Single Coil-Single Coil). Can it be done? I don't really need the pickups
because I am dedicating this guitar for rhythm use only.

So, for say, I change the bridge pickups, and just remove the Neck and middle pickups.
What do I need to take note of, remove selector knob? There's only one volume knob, so that wouldn't be a problem? If so, I will send to a guitar shop to do accordingly.

Would dearly accept any inputs here:p:p:p

Cheers and rock on.

Can be done.
You might wanna model it after the Squier Bullet Special. I own one of those, pretty decent guitar for the price (of course bought during sale. :p)
That being said, you will need a single humbucker pickguard to cover up the cavities...
You can remove the selector, or do stuff like coil split, since it's a bucker.

One volume only; can't mess with the tone if you wanna do it like the Bullet Special. Of course, you can custom yours. I find a tone pot to be very useful.
