Hi community,
my electric guitar needs cleaning but I'm unsure of how and what to clean it with.
I have heard people recommending using lemon oil to moisturize those dry fretboards.. used fret polishes to minimise rust and make their frets shine.. but i have never tried any of them yet because I dont want to risk ruining my guitar before figuring out exactly how to clean.
right now i have these three pressing priorities i need to clear..
1) (tooth)brushes are able to clear some dirt/dust off the bridge and the area beside each fret.. but for the fret area particularly, there has always been those solid persistent dirt that are impossible to remove for some reason.. is there any kind of liquid that is for sale to remove them completely?
2) the bridge of my NT guitar is rusty and even when i brush it not all dirt is removed
3) frets rusting slightly.. would it be safe to utilise those polishers that some people use?
Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated
Hope to hear from you guys soon
