guitar maintainence.

i was just wondering what lengths you guys
go for guitar maintainence.

including the lengths you guys go to and duration
you spend cleaning the guitar, what you use to clean
and how often you might send it to a workshop for
whatever reason.

u use pledge, an SAF rifle cleaning cloth and a
phonecard/atmcard/ic/membership card to scrape
off that nasty gunk on the fretboard without scratching
it. probably take like... 15mins or so...

i never send my guitar to a workshop until i got a
significant problem that hinders my playing.

well. i clean my fretboard a little once in about 3-4 months. strings in 1 month. thats about it. yeah i love the reliced look which explains the large amount of buckle rash on my strat

well.. my mom bought me a special cloth for my guitar... It makes my guitar clean and maintain the body gloss... But, how do you guys clean or maybe prevent the strings rust?

actually i give the strings a wipe after every single play...
or maybe after an hr or 45mins of jamming/gigging, i'll
just wipe my rifle cleaning cloth across the strings.

i hear fast fret works wonders and lasts a lifetime.
