guitar Licks!

can someone tell me wat a guitar lick is? and how do i play the "lick"??

A guitar lick is just a small lead line. Its like riff is for rhythm, den lick for lead. Sumthing lidat. So when ppl say, " i wanna play this lick", he might be refering to sum part of sum solo.

it's like a solo, but not a solo....

in a standard 4 bar, at the end of playing 3 bars of riffs, the lick occupies the last bar...

you probably need to listen out in songs to get a better understanding. hard to describe in words.
