pardon for my stupidity. i don't really understand the excercise 2 and 3 for guitarlessonworld.com. it says place my hand on the 6th string.. with my fingers on fret 1 - 4. and asked me to go through the fingerings.. example : 1234, 1243 and etc. so does if is 1342, does it means placing my 1st finger aka index finger on fret 1, 3rd finger on fret 2, 4th finger on fret 3 and 2nd finger aka middle finger on fret 4? please do reply me post or give me a pm. i'm at a loss now

I guess it means:

Ur fingers always remains as 1st finger on fret 1, 2nd finger on fret 2, 3rd finger on fret 3 and last finger on fret 4. the numbers 1342 refers to the fret sequence u should play.
