I am giving guitar lessons for players who are fairly new to the instrument. This would mean players who picked up the instrument recently or just learned a few chords and would like to know more about the instrument.
Having 5 years of experience in playing the guitar, and 3 years worshiping regularly in both acoustic and electric guitar, I am confident in guiding students who are new to the instrument.
Topics that I'll touch on are strumming, plucking, transposing, keys, basic theory and if you're into joining your church's worship ministry, I'll share some pointers and give you some ideas as well.
Will there be a limit to how much I can teach? Yes. My goal for each of my student on the aspects of theory and practical is to be able to understand and apply basic music theory such as chord structure, and also to be able to sing and play smoothly.
Rates
- $30/hr/pax for 1-to-1
- $25/hr/pax for pairs
Venue
Your preference. If location is too far, a small fee may be added to cover travel cost (to be discussed/negotiated)
Time Slots
Currently, I'm available on weekday evening, 7pm onwards.
Lastly, I'd like to stress that you can have the best guitar, equipments and teachers... But without practicing, you will not progress.
