im using this spare guitar amp as my speaker for my computer. will my amp be affected or damaged in any way ?

hmmm...

i know something will get screwed if a digital input is plugged into sumthing meant for analog signals and vice versa...

but for amps like this... how does it sound? is it distorted?

i see, the sound is not distorted. there are those knobs like gain, bass and stuff to adjust. yea.

there shouldn't be a problem, but its not really advisable... get computer speakers lah! cheap cheap only...

p.s. i used my school classroom speakers to play my guitar and its blown now... shhh!

lol. i use my guitar amp too blast music using my iPod because i blown/blasted/exploded my iPod speakers when i played my guitar through those iPod speakers. then sometimes i happy i blast full bass, my whole room shake.

quite true... i think amps which are meant to take in high input or meant to be driven like guitar amps should not have a problem amplifying a number of sources...

but as for normal speakers meant to play low input devices or not meant to be driven, like cd-players/mp3 players type of input... it will blow if it gets driven by drive pedals and all... haha my sch speakers also gonna gg too

haha i remember when a dude in my school gigged with speakers... school said amps would be provided. they gave him a SPEAKER! HAHAHAHA! sorry max.

AHAHa... i do remember once... like 6 years ago... i did a gig at monfort secondary school.... they literally gave me like a small speaker. Sounded ... kinda like a broken roland jazz chorus.

and the other time i had a performance in my sec skul..

there was an idiot..who wanted to use a samick 10 watts guitar amp as a bass amp.. :smt044

and i clearly had a bass amp..lmao!
