Guitar amplifier software connected to a amplifier

I have a question,I'm using a guitar amplifier software on my macbook pro(pod farm) it works really well,but after awhile of using,it doesn't have that air pushing amp feeling,i finally hear that digital kind of sound,i was wondering,if i use the software,connect my speakers to an amplifier.Would the sound be counted as "amp sound" and if i record with a mic from the physical amp,which has sound coming from the amp software,is it still as good as the "amp sound". Please help me out in this

Since you already know what you're looking for, the "pushed air" sound, then you have to physically find the sweet spot and mic your amp.

You're not going to get a very good result with just using line out since you're only taking the signal through the amp, not a signal captured by a microphone.

Alternatively, try other speaker cabinet simulation software that can help get you a better "pushed air" amp sound.
