Guitar Amp to recommend?

any guitar amps to recomend ard 500 or so price range? Play mostly rock with distortion.

Not really. Looking for something value for money and sounds decent when u crank up the volume. Im temp using the Marshall MG30FX. When i step on my distortion pedals and crank the volume, the sound is quite bad.

You can check out the Kustom 25w amps. It goes at Davis for about $250. I used to have one and I really liked it. Works well with dirt pedals.

Blackstar HT-5 gets my vote.

In the interim, do you have a volume pedal? It would make a difference if place the volume pedal after your distortion pedals, set the volume at 6 or 7, and crank your amp. It avoids hitting the front end of the amp too hard (tube amps sound ok when that happens, but not solid states).

Hmm never thought of that. Will try that with the volume pedal. Thanks!
