Great Multi Effects to play with

Hey,I'd like to get some recommendations on some affordable,value-for-money multi effects pedals.I've been recommended brands such as the Zoom G2.1U multi effects pedal, the KORG AX3000G and the POD X3 Live.I've also found the BOSS ME-50 to be attractive because of it's user-friendliness.However,I feel that the POD is way,way too expansive with too many settings to play with and the BOSS doesn't offer as many effects as the others do.When it comes down to the Zoom G2.1U,which one offers more effects to play around with but taking into consideration,user-friendliness(Which offers more effects & more easy control)?

as lemonade said, whats ur definition of affordable?
if its under $500, get a used Pod XT or XT Live, Boss GT6 or 8 (doubt u can find gt8 for under $500).
personally i like the pod because you can connect it via USB to ur pc and edit and download patches, record and stuff all from there. plus its way easier to use than the boss gt series.

boss gt series are actually one of the best multiefx pedals for the price range of (say $400-800?), just a tad complicated to use to really get the sound u want.

When looking for a good multi fx, you shouldn't be intimidated by how tweakable it is! Its better than having nothing to tweak at all... :D

The more parameters you can edit the better you can shape your tone, in fact the Pod X3 Live is rather easy to use. Honestly speaking I use the pod x3 mainly for its amp modeling and typical stuff like reverbs delays and chorus, nothing fancy. The X3 is definitely awesome for the amount of amp models it has.

Another point is that the X3 has a software called Gearbox for you to edit your tones on your computers and you can download tones that other X3 users have put up online so you wouldn't need to sit on the floor and start turning the knobs manually. The program is easy to use, very much like a normal signal chain where you can place modulations and delays in pre or post.

Although its a little pricey, you can try scouting for one in the buy/sell, in fact there's one going for $480 right now which is a really good deal.
