Going away for more than a month!

Hi all, as stated in the title I'm going overseas for more than a month and would like to ask for recommendations on how to store my acoustic and electric. I have previously stored my acoustic away in a semi-hard foam case for about three weeks and both the strings and frets rusted! So I'm quite worried about this six weeks absence from touching my guitars.

Now, I observe that when I am constantly playing my guitars and I leave the cases unzipped, the strings do not rust nearly as quickly as when I zip up the cases. I find this weird, but maybe by zipping up the case it is 'locking in' the humidity? I'm thinking of changing the strings to new ones and then leaving the cases either open or closed to delay the oxidation of strings and frets.

I'm currently away for about 2months now. Firstly, all of my guitars are either in hard case or well padded and securely zipped softcase. Some of the cases have Zorb It packs as well. But I think the main thing is that I do have a dehumidifier, which is really helpful to keep humidity down. I store all the guitars in a small room with the dehumidifier so I hope that when I'm back, everything will not rust badly or whatnots.

you can leave it with me and i will play on your behalf while you are not around.
Btw, what brand n model are these ?

Changing to new strings before your departure?!

Hmm...Yup I guess & leave all your guitars on the multi guitar-stand if you happen to have one after the replacement.
Hope it helps.

Good luck!
