GNX3000 Digitech pedal

Hi there, i'm selling my ZOOM GFX5, comes with bag, adaptor and a whole lot of patches. Selling S$250/= (neg) with manual and box. patches manual as well for your future tweaking. Interested?? pm me. thanks.

haven't tried it personally.... but from the reviews i've read it seems to be at the top of the heap as far as modelers are concerned.

i'm especially impressed by the 5 star rating given to it by Guitarist (UK) magazine. i don't recall the magazine giving more than 7-8 such good reviews in the 4 years that i've read it. see here: http://www.soundtech.co.uk/images/soundtech/downloads/GNX3000_GuitaristGold.pdf

it lists for S$1200 before discount at swee lee. can check it out there.

hmmm... does that mean the year end swee lee sale 50% will be given to it... haha... i really want to get that... heard rave reviews... haha thanx all

but beware...so far my experience with digitech is the lag in patch changes, there is a short but noticable lag between wen you step on the footswitch, and when the patch changes

so far from what ive tried, only the zoom g series pedals give a smooth transition

as for digitech, most of the effects are ok, but the thing i love most is the whammy function, it really does work smoothly, unlike korg and zoom's pitch shifter

yeah most modelers tend to have that lag. GNX3000 is supposed to have a shorter lag than previous models but i won't really count on it to be unnoticeable.

but that said the lag is only noticeable if you use the 'patch' mode ie. switching between patches. if you use the 'performance' mode ie. select between amp models + stomp boxes + effects within a patch, the difference is not noticeable at all. that way you can set up patches for individual songs and experience almost no lag, while changing patches only between songs. this worked well for the GNX2 i had.[/i]
