Gilbert and his Drill

I find it quite difficult to appreciate the guitar solo part, it's impressive but it seems like he's playing scales like that, but the drill part at the end.. that's a very interesting gimmick! ;)

I saw that a long time ago, but it's still awesome to watch. When he did that classical-styled lick starting from 0:58, it just blew my mind.

methinks he and sheehan made a brilliant job of using drills. also, listen to Mr BIG's daddy brother lover little boy, its has a solo of drills too. bass and guitar both.

p.s. the jap song at the end is called sukiyaki, if anyones interested. first tune i figured out, and ridiculed by dad for it every since

OMG! I JUST FOUND THE TAB FOR THIS ONE! I'M GONNA PRACTICE MY ASS OFF, MARK MY WORDS! WHOOPIE!!!

And after you perfect it, record and post it up here!

I think he is playin some scale exercises, cos some of the parts sound familiar to the guitar lesson videos that i saw of him. Anyway I liked Paul Gibert cos he has a great sense of humor . And the ending japanese song sukiyaki is pretty cool, nice one!
