Are there any official dealers for Gibson guitars in Singapore? like which company can i contact for endorsements or sponserships?

hey, thanks for the reply. what is the company or do you have any links or phone numbers or places that i could go to or search for?

hmmm, so just to confirm. swee lee uh? so i just email them and ask them whether they're willing to sponser or endorse us? i feel so dumb man.

If you are interested in endorsements you should try to get to the Gibson ppl here.
Altho Swee Lee are the distro Gibson do have their own marketing ppl here

but the big problem is that i don't even know who the Gibson people are or where are they. that's why i'm seeking for HELP. HAHAHA

Gibson isn't really doing full endorsements here, they have a loaner program where you put down a deposit and they loan you the guitar for a week so you can play it at shows. if you damage it you pay the remaining amount of the guitar's cost, but they aren't giving guitars to people in full endorsement deals.

i wouldn't support the loaner program. you pay money, don't get to keep the guitar, if you damage it you must purchase the guitar, and you're not allowed to modify the guitar while it's on loan. meanwhile, Gibson gets free advertising from you, assuming lots of people are interested in your band.

bogus deal as far as i'm concerned. i'd much rather buy my own guitar and throw on strap locks and swing it around and not be terrified of owing anyone 3k for damaging it.

+1 to zax and serialninja.

You want endorsement deal? Simple, if your band is able to sell to the local (better still, foreign) market and people actually are willing to pay to watch u guys perform live, I don't see why you guys won't get endorsements.

At the end of the day, it is the dollar and cent that really matter.

hey, nightblade does really make alot of sense! but i 3k is really over my budget and moreover i'm a bloody student with a low allowance 3k is really WOW. i'm currently using an epiphone les paul limited edition which i bought with my own money but with the swinging and all, its already in shambles. The money i spend for sending it for repairs each time is killing me so far i can say i've spent over 600 on repairs on my baby. well, i'll take your advice and maybe save up for a gibson. (:

isn't it worse if u get a Gibson and start swinging it?? if u can't take good care of ur epiphone, what makes you so sure that u would for a Gibson??

in the first place, why would u wanna buy a Gibson if your allowance is low?? is it because of the aesthetic feel? or because you are truly going for its tonality?

why not consider a Tokai? Edwards? Orville or Greco even? Those are relatively close to a Gibson tone, not to mention the looks.
