Wanna ask about you guys thoughts and impressions of the faded DC. Torn between this or the telecaster. I basically play pop rock to soft rock. :wink:

a humbucking guitar generates less noise with high drive/ gain settings, nevermind the brand name.

in any case try both, choose the one which makes you play well.

I see... thanks but the faded dc isn't a humbucking guitar.
It has two single coil P-90 pickups.

not saying it is- just letting you know what kinda noise generation to expect, since you are playing the rock genre, high gain is expected yes?

if you want more feedback, i suggest you provide more info.

for instance, what bands or songs in particular do you like (pop/soft rock is quite general). do you mean soft rock from bands such as vertical horizon/ 3 doors down, Sterophonics, or..... soft rock ballads a la Firehouse, Mr Big, Whitesnake?

is this your first guitar? if not, what have you played before and what was your experience with your last guitar that makes you wanna get a new one?

is there any reason why you have narrowed it down to these two types of guitars?
