All introductions and pleasantries aside, this axe is straight up one of the sweetest Les Pauls I've ever laid hands and eyes on...Lord have mercy... One might've owned the many iterations of the iconic LP but until one has a historic R9, one simply hasn't arrived at the promised land.
The ’59 Burst is often considered among aficonados to be the crème de la crème of the hallowed '58 - '60 era. This reissued beauty is sweetly balanced, “chewy” and with a good bit of bite; not too beefy also, but lithe and raunchy. And the 'give' and sustain on this baby is just wickedly insane. Astounding. Period.
Shipped in from the U.S. in 2014, this custom shop guitar is in dead mint condition without any cosmetic/hardware defects, and comes collect with the relevant case candies and Certificate of Authenticity.
