Hi guys,
Just want to make an honest testimonial regarding the awesome re-fretting work by Maestro aka KC.
I have a fernandes guitar that I once posted for sale in soft but after awhile I decided to make it a "back-up" guitar and re-condition the guitar by having the frets "re-done" by Maestro.
I checked-in the gtr in Maestro to change the stock jumbo frets to medium sized frets. The guitar plays well with the stock frets but after 1 year of use and occasional use of capo, the top of the frets got some shallow string marks, and some frets the top was almost flat due to normal usage.
This condition produced string buzzing in the upper registers so when I bend the string in that area, the string vibrations die.
But after the re-fretting, wow...
The buzzing is gone, the neck feels so good and as a bonus, the shinny frets make the guitar looks new!!!
The frets are finished very smooth, so when I do a slide, I'm a bit faster compared to the stock frets! The setup is also very balanced, not too low and not too high. Im very sure that I perceive an increase in sustain.
Here's a snapshot of the awesome fret work.
So, if you have a guitar that you are contemplating on selling, try to re-condition it by checking it in Maestro, you will be amazed!
KC also granted my special request to do something about a small chip in the guitar with no extra cost! I feel the service fee I paid was money very well spent.
Thanks Maestro KC, more power!
