G&L LB.100 BASS

Can anyone kindly advise whether the G&L LB.100 BASS is reliable for slapping? & where in SIN is the axe is available? Cheers.. Bob[/img]

there's one second hand lb100 at guitar workshop. it's a discontinued bass so it's pretty hard to find.

the lb100 is basically g&l's take on a 60s pbass. if you find the slap sound on a pbass appeals to you, you would most probably be fine slapping on a lb100.

i didn't quite get your definition of reliable so can't add much more.

tks for the info Tim 8) . btw do hv any idea is there any G&L distributor in SIN cos i can't find them at any major distributor here locally.. Actually i just need to know whether it could be used for slapping.

yamaha used to bring in the tribute line but have since stopped. currently, i don't think theres any distributor in singapore.

Hi Guys, I finally already bought the G&L LB-100 bass. It's a very good bass it's just that it's 4 string & would like to let it go in order to get a 5 string bass. Anybody interested? Cheers.
