hi, i'm new to drumming..just wanna know what's the function of wearing headphones while drumming? i've seen performers on stage doing that, and a lot others too.
i assume its to muffle the drums for urself so u can hear the whole band better..but could it be that they play a metronome inside? just to make sure that they keep in beat..haha.not always a metronome,u know,maybe the original song when playing a cover for that song.
and is it recommended to be used when jamming? coz my new band's drummer apparently has trouble keeping the beat for d band..
