Performance Specialist

(Senior School Arts Faculty – Music) – starting August 2016
Job Summary:


The successful applicant will support the School Senior Music Department extra curricular and performance commitments and lead and develop performance areas to offer more performance opportunities to our Senior Students.


Requirements:

Essential

Minimum Degree/Master holder in Music with a focus on Performance
High level of piano proficiency with excellent accompanying skills and sight-reading ability
Experience in arranging Music for Ensembles i.e. Orchestra, Choir, Jazz Band, Rock Groups
Desirable

Experience of working within a school context or leading students of 11-18 years old
A 2nd instrument or vocal skills
Understanding of the IGCSE and IB Diploma Music performance and composition syllabuses
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel
Ability to work on several projects and tasks at once
Willing to learn new skills and technology
