I'm thinking of selling my RG1820X as mentioned in the title, as i find that i'm not playing it much these days. It is an awesome guitar no doubt but i keep reaching for my other guitar instead of this, so if someone really likes I could sell. I'm not in a hurry or anything, just looking for someone who might play it more than i do!
Specs are basically pretty standard if you ask me. They are:
-Basswood stock RG shape
-24 fret maple/rosewood prestige neck (feels awesome)
-Bolt on neck
-V7/V8 ibanez pickups
-Galaxy Black finish
But these are what makes it unique!
-HH pickup config (opposed to HSH)
-Edge Pro bridge with piezo saddles
-Knobs: Magnetic Volume, Magnetic Tone, Piezo Volume, Piezo Treble/Bass.
-5 Way Switch for magnetic pickups
-Mini toggle for magnetic/piezo/both outputs
-2 output jacks for magnetic and piezo
It is really the 5 way switch and piezo option that makes this a truly versatile guitar, and can cover ALL ground. Piezo pickup also creates super nice acoustic guitar tones, be it with acoustic amp or straight to the PA.
This is a discontinued model, Ibanez with Piezo are getting rarer as they don't make that option any more.
Condition:
The guitar has been played and has some small chips... but the most prominent damage will be this chip here
but this in no way affects the sound and play ability.
Right now, there's one at sweelee going for 2.6K list, but I'd like to sell it maybe 1.5K ?
I am the original buyer/owner and I bought it first hand.
