Just putting out a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in this..
Not sure how much they sell for here in Singapore but at the starting price of current R series at US$6250 or so... I'm guessing my asking price is fair!
The Electric Gypsy ‘La India’ model is the guitar that started it all: she was the first guitar that Teye, before even thinking of becoming a professional Luthier, made just for himself.
This guitar is handmade in Austin Texas by and the body wood is made of light-weight mahogany, personally selected by Teye himself. Guitar has been played a little but still in a good 9/10 condition. Frets are still in good condition, very little fretwear. No dings on the guitar. A guitar of this caliber is definitely babied! Comes with Mother of Pearl inlays and a very striking and attractive 12th fret inlay! To top it up, the neck and back are finished in an opulent autumn-red.
The 3 pickups are handwound Lollar pickups. 5 way selector switch chooses between
Bridge Pickup
Single Bridge and Neck Humbucker (for strat type tones)
Bridge and Neck Humbuckers
Out of phase (ala Peter Green)
Neck Pickup
Not forgetting the famous MOOD knob that is a built in filter designed by Teye to give you all the tones from big fat Gibson tones to glassy Fender tones and everything in between. This is a versatile piece of electronic and it takes the guitar to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL!
The guitar not only looks like a gem, but it is amazingly playable too! The specially designed Teye standard neck profile is comfortable and playing this guitar is a breeze! Set up in 10-46s as recommended by Teye himself. (All Teye guitars are built to be played on 10s!)
