Got a beautiful Fender AVRI Jag up for sale. Wouldn't have to flog this but I have a Bilt Relevator on my way and too many guitars in the house.
Mods:
- Mastery bridge
- Anodized black aluminium pickguard from tone-guard.com - nice, solid thick stuff. Won't bend at all, shields well, and adds just a little bit of resonance.
- Staytrem arm + collet to prevent loose/wobbly trem arm feeling. Philips head screws on trem plate were trimmed and inverted so they wouldn't get in the way of the strings like in a stock trem (see pictures).
- Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickups.
Set up for 11-50s. Plays really well with low action - negligible fret wear and neck is straight. One bridge thimble was slightly misaligned and the pickguard holes wouldn't fit correctly, so hole was filed slightly larger and thimble was taped and press-fit in - it's not the best looking repair cosmetically (not like you'll see it anyway) but it's sturdy enough and rock solid. Tiny chip in the neck finish and small body finish crack at the neck pocket from a previous setup, looks much worse in the pictures than they are in person. A few mild scuffs on the finish from routine playing wear, but nothing that can't be polished out. Comes with OHSC, adjustment wrenches for the Mastery, pickup boxes, and a whole bunch of other case candy.
