Made in 97, some wear and dings on the body from years of gigging. Truss rod works perfectly. Dont have a pic, but it looks exactly like this:

same color, but mine is trans red and you can see the nice grains of the ash body and my maple neck has aged into an amber-like color. The neck is non-lacquered, coated with oil and wax. It is literally the best playing neck of any bass i have tried, low action without any buzz. The sound is aggressive and with lots of high mids punch, its good for slap and fingerstyle, you'll have no problem getting heard in the mix. The bass comes w a MM hardcase, the left latch is loose and lots of scratches on the shell but otherwise works perfectly. I have swapped the pickup cover with a white aftermarket pickup cover directly from ernieball, it looks great imo. Bass also comes with hipshot d tuner and dunlop straplocks.
For those folks looking for a bass in mint condition to hang on the wall you might wanna look elsewhere, but if you just want a battleworn ray to rock out, be sure to giv this a try. I stay in the west, keen parties can come down and test the bass.
I might be open to trade for pbasses, top ups depend on the bass in question.
